The duration of a full spectrum scan by the node depends on the number of bands being scanned. For the full frequency range from 600MHz to 6GHz, the node takes from 40 to 60 minutes to complete. This includes the analysis of both NR and LTE.

By default, the node scans all bands supported by modern cell phones. However, optimizing the band list can reduce the scanning time. Here is a list of bands for reference
  • 4G scan only: [13, 29, 32, 34, 39, 42, 46]
  • 5G scan only: [70, 76, 77]
  • Both 4G, 5G: [3, 7, 8, 12, 20, 25, 26, 28, 40, 41, 48, 53, 66, 71]
If users wish to scan specific bands, we can reconfigure it accordingly, resulting in a shorter scan time.
It's important to note that a single scan may not capture all signals simultaneously due to signal availability. We recommend spending at least 3-4 hours at a location to enhance the chances of capturing a more comprehensive signal profile.
