Power is always needed to run D2030. D2030 cannot work passively.

When D2030 is not powered up, connecting to an external 10 MHz reference will not cause any damage to the unit.

Reset is not required when switching 10MHz from external to internal, or internal to external.

The operational voltage for the D2030 is: 12VDC +/- 5%. ThinkRF recommends using the power supply provided with the device.

When the D2030 is powered off and then powered on, users would need to repeat the tuning process every time. The D2030 does not store last settings.
